The colliding of two worlds ~
I don’t tell people IRL (in real life) about my diary. I don’t believe that it’s really any of their business to know that I write for my kids here and most of the people that I am close to already know all of these crazy stories. But something that somebody said to me the other day led me to believe “they” read my diary. At first it bothered me, I felt almost violated, but then I quickly came to the realization that this is a public forum and nothing that I say here I wouldn’t say elsewhere, so read on little poppets and tell the rest of the planet if you choose. This is not some dirty little secret I was keeping quiet, but rather something that I wanted to keep for just myself. In a time when it seems like I am pulled here as a Mother and there as an Employee, Friend, Co-Worker, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, PTO member, Volunteer etc., this little spot, this tiny space was just for me to be me and to share with you about my kids and my life. I guess that I just came to the realization that by letting it bother me, to know that IRL people were reading what I wrote, was taking that away from me. Not anymore!! I am still doing this for me and the girls and to heck with anyone else!!!
I promise that as soon as I get ahold of Nicole (she moved) that I will post our entries about our meeting!!
From me and mine to you and yours ~ Stephanie
P.S. Welcome to all the new diary writers at Moms Today!!!!
