Analisa ~ 31 months
Abriella ~ 7 months old (tomorrow)
~Abriella~
My little rocker! She is now getting up on all 4s and rocking back and forth. I am sure it won’t be too much longer before she is crawling all over the place. Although sometimes I think she would prefer to skip the crawling and go straight to walking. She loves to hold onto our hands and pull herself straight up to standing position.
I was right about the teething. Ella broke her first tooth through. It is one of her bottom front ones (on her left). I think the other one will be coming along in no time.
And another thing she is now doing is saying “dadadada”. It is so exciting that she is starting to talk now. Analisa said “Mama” first. So I am not minding that Ella is babbling “dadada”.
She is doing better with her bottles now. She gets an 8oz bottle first thing in the morning. If she gets up pretty early (early is a different time every day, depending on what we are doing) she will get her bottle in bed with us and then fall right back to sleep. Otherwise, she will take her morning nap 1-2 hours after she wakes. She then gets cereal and fruit. This is normally around 10am. If she went to sleep right after her bottle then she will take her morning nap after her cereal. She then gets her 2nd 8oz bottle around 1pm. Another nap usually follows that. She eats dinner, a fruit and a veggie, around 4pm. And lastly, she gets her last 8oz bottle about 7pm. Bedtime is getting a bit later. It use to be right after her bottle but she is staying up till about 8pm now. So that is Ella’s day. I just wanted to keep a record of that.
~Analisa~
Analisa is continuing to adjust well here. She now knows about the new house that is being built. When we drive out there to see it she now right when we get to the subdivision that this is her new house.
She is still in ballet/tap class. It ends the end of June. That is when we have her recital. It should be really fun. My only worry right now is her costume. We just got it last Thursday. When she first put it on she had to have it off immediately. I think the tag bothered her. I cut it off and she tried it on again and still wanted it off right away. Ana loves playing dress up. She will put on everything. So I am not sure what to do about this.
My little mermaid, Analisa refers to herself Ariel. We went swimming and she continues to LOVE it. She would not get out. We got her one of those suits that have the floatation device right in them. And with that on she can pretty much swim alone.
~New House~
I can not believe how fast it seems to be going up already. We not only have our basement but the whole first floor is framed and the chimney and Analisa’s one bedroom wall on the 2nd floor. It is so fun to drive out there every week to see what it will look like. I am so excited about this. Although, I am trying not to get too excited until the papers are signed. I am just afraid something will go wrong with finances. I will post some pics soon. Check my TTM board for a link.
~Memorial Day Weekend~
We had a great weekend. Saturday night the 4 of us went to the drive-in theatre. We saw Shrek 2 with the girls then they fell asleep. And Scott and I stayed to watch Mean Girls. It was a lot of fun. I think Analisa enjoyed it. She got a kick out of being able to watch a movie from the back of the van. We took the back seat out of the mini van and grabbed a bunch of blankets and pillows. It was a great time.
Sunday we packed up our bags and headed up to Lake Geneva, WI. I may have mentioned before that my grandparents have a summer home up there. The weather was not great here or there, but there we have access to an indoor pool so we figured that at least gave us something different to do. And as I mentioned above something Analisa would love to do. Plus we wanted to get Ella in the pool for her 1st time. We tried once before when we were up there for New Years but she was not even 2 months old and the water was not too warm. So she did not last too long in there that time. This time though she did great. She also loves the water. The water again was not very warm but that did not stop her. She really enjoyed it. We had one of those baby inner tubes and she just lounged in there. As soon as I get the pics back I will put it on her website.
Swimming was really all we did up there. But we had a nice little break and some great family time.
~Weight~
I am in rut. I have put on a few lbs and am not happy about it. Has anyone read the Dr. Phil book? Do you recommend it? I liked weight watchers but was not good about writing my stuff down. I need something easier to do.
~Books~
Speaking of books, I have not read a book in some time. I have never been much of a reader. But I have this urge to read a good book. I saw Oprah just came out with a new one for her book club. But I am not sure if this is one I should read since I have not read one for so long. Can anyone recommend one to me?
Well, I think this is it for now.
Thanks for reading!
Raelyn
(lucky Mama to Analisa and Abriella)
