Analisa ~ 29 months
Abriella ~ 2 days shy of 5 months
OK, I am going to attempt a quick update. I am feeling rushed and I have so much all jumbled up that I want to get out fast. So this is going to be a mess, but here it goes while I have some time.
~House Update~
Whoa! Where do I begin? Please keep your fingers crossed. We accepted an offer on Sunday night.
We decided last week to re-paint Analisa’s room to make it more neutral in hopes that it would help sell the place. We also were going to re-touch some wall with white. We took some of our shelves and pictures off the wall so they needed touch ups.
I decided that since I was going to be home on Saturday that I would put the open house sign outside. We had one couple come through while I was feeding Ella. The walked through pretty quickly. They had a guy with them who was doing their talking. I am thinking they don’t speak English well or something. Because he didn’t say he was a realtor. Anyway, they had looked through the models and this was the one they liked. They looked through and said they had one more to look at but that they might be back. I was pretty excited. But they never came back that day. So Scott and I went to pick up the paint that night for Ana’s room. I had already started on the white paint stuff. We just bought a cream color for Ana’s room. That night we finished the white wall stuff. But didn’t want to get into the cream since we were planning on doing an open house the next day. Well, Sunday we only had one couple come through. I was really thinking we would do good since it was so nice out. But we got the garage organized and I picked all of the leftover leaves out of the stones in the front. So it looks better there. (Ok, I am trying to get this all out in a hurry…) Well, right after I started taping off Ana’s room and start the trim we got a phone call. It was the guy who was with the people who came through on Saturday. They wanted to put an offer in. We had them email it to us. So we sat there excited and waiting. The first offer was 11k less then what we are asking so we counter and then they cam back with a final offer. It was 500 less then what Scott had hoped for so we accepted it. So now we just have to hope and pray that all continues to go smoothly for this transaction. We got a hold of our lawyer yesterday so I guess he is taking care of it now.
So anyway we finished painting Ana’s room. We needed to do it anyhow because of the touch up work that need to be done. We didn’t have the purple paint to match with what was already up there. So it is now done. We have also moved Ella’s crib into her room. So the girls are now sharing a room. We had Ella’s crib in our bedroom. It was pretty crowded in there. I was thinking we could pack some of Ana’s toys up and make room in her bedroom so that we could sorta de-clutter our room. We had both of our nightstands in our closet. In our room was a king size bed, 2 big dressers, my glider and otterman (sp?), and Ella’s crib. It was pretty crowded.
Oh and these people want to close by the end of April. UGH! So I now you see why I am rambling on so much right now. I have a house full of stuff everywhere. I don’t think it will end until we close. I am a bit overwhelmed right now. We will be moving in with my parents until our house is done. (Please be done quick….) It is suppose to be done in August. So anyway, I have pulled the girls summer clothes out and am in the process of washing them and getting them on hangers to bring over to my parents since they will not need them this month.
At my parents we will be taking over their finished basement. That is where my old bedroom was. That room is now the girls’ playroom. But my Dad uses the closet for all of his clothes since my Mom takes up their walk in by herself. So I am not sure where we will be putting all of our clothes. We have to figure all of this out. We will move all of the girls toys out to the great room that is down there and put our bed in that bedroom/playroom. There is a little room next to the bedroom that is not closed off but is on the opposite side of the stairs then the rest of the basement. So the girls beds will be there.
Anyways, I am sorry I do not even know what I am typing right now. I feel I have no time. I have to hurry to get going. So, I just wanted to update all now. I am not sure how often I will be on here for a while.
~Weight Watchers~
I made it to the 20lb mark. YEAH! I have not been going to the meeting. Instead I spend my extra time working out. So I am hoping I can still continue to lose weight.
~TV~
Average Joe 2 – Do any of you have a favorite? I have not really gotten into it.
American Idol – I missed last night’s episode. How was it?
