Analisa ~ 2 years 2 months
Abriella ~ 2 months
I hope you all had a great New Years. We spent it in Lake Geneva, WI. My grandparents have a house up there. It is in a private subdivision where they have there own golf course, clubhouse with indoor/outdoor pools, beach, and yacht club. It is really nice there. It is actually located on the opposite end of the lake from Lake Geneva. It is only about a 20 minute drive.
We took my brother’s dog, Pebbles, with us. She is an American Bulldog. Analisa loved having her with us. She was the first thing she thought of when she woke. I am looking forward to the day we have a house so that we can get her a dog.
We left Monday afternoon. We arrived up there about 5pm. Scott stopped at the grocery store to grab a few things for dinner. So once we were there the first thing we did was go to the clubhouse where Scott and Analisa could swim for a little while. Analisa just loves the water. She had a great time being able to take advantage of that pool. We then had our dinner at the house.
Tuesday we went into the town of Lake Geneva. They have great little shops there. It reminds me of the kind of town you would find by any beach. They have tons of those t-shirts places where they have those iron-ons. That is where we bought Ana her “I’m the Big Sister” sweatshirt, that she wore to the hospital. So this time we bought each of them a pink t-shirt. Analisa’s has the same print as her sweatshirt and we bought Abriella one that says ”I’m the Little Sister”! I can not wait to see them both in their shirts this summer.
We went back to the house for a little while so Ana could nap and we could let Pebbles out. We went back into town that night to have dinner and a movie. We went and saw Elf. Analisa is a movie addict. She loves going to the movie theatre. This, is nice for Scott & I who also love going. It was a cute movie. And more importantly Analisa had fun.
Wednesday, Scott took Analisa to the pool for a few hours. So Abriella & I just hung out at the house. I got to watch my soaps! By the time they came back it was time to get ready for dinner. We had 5pm reservations. My grandparents had $250 in gift certificates for the Yacht Club up there that had to be used by the end of the year. So they told us to use them up. YEAH! We had a great dinner. We had shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. Scott & I both had steak & lobsters! Analisa had spaghetti. And we tried a couple little things from the dessert table. Oh and we all had virgin strawberry daiquiris. The bill was about $135 so we did pretty well for the 3 of us!
After dinner we were going to go back to the house for a P.J. party. As I was pumping and watching the 10pm news I was having the hardest time staying awake. Analisa & I ended up going to bed about 1030pm. So Scott celebrated the New Year with Abriella!
Thursday morning we got most of the stuff packed up and then went to the pool for one last time. After Abriella & I watched Scott & Ana swim for a while we all had lunch there. We then just went back got the car all packed and headed back home.
We had a really nice time. After dropping Pebbles off we went to dinner and went and saw yet another movie. This time we saw Cheaper by the Dozen. This was a really cute movie. We all enjoyed it.
Friday it was suppose to be a high of 55 degrees out so we decided to take advantage of it and we bundled up the girls and took them to the zoo. It was really nice, a little wet and damp but overall it was nice to get out and get some fresh air.
~Abriella~
She is doing very well. She is starting to coo so much now. I just love when she talks to me. It melts my heart. When I weighed myself :( with and with out her it shows that she is about 13lbs now. So she seems to be growing very well. I have her 2 month appt on the 12th.
~TTM~
What did you do for New Years? I would still like to hear from more of you about your Christmas traditions? And also your New Years ones?
I wish for you all to have the happiest and healthiest 2004!!!
Raelyn
