Whew! We tackled Alex’s room last night and let me tell you that boy had/has WAY too many things!!! I threw away four huge garbage bags filled with broken toys, three big bags to donate, and two bags to go to my parent’s house to replenish their toys up there. Finally his room feels more open, but darn it there is still loads of stuff. I know that DH and I are part of the issue, but all our family members like to buy Alex big stuff! They can’t just send a box of legos, they have to send a TUB of Mega blocks, then a fire truck filled with Mega blocks, and bags and boxes of more mega Blocks. Alex even has an entire drawer of hot wheels; we are talking 6 square feet of hot wheels! Hello!! I asked DH if we had a problem, he of course doesn’t think so. LOL!
So my last day at work was the end of February. This past week was my first week at home solo. I did really well working my business and bringing in money. I earned the cost of Alex’s Montessori school in ONE week! Yahoo! Next week is another week to keep up the momentum. I was so tempted to treat myself to the movies and sushi though. LOL!
My Sister in Law comes to visit next weekend! We haven’t seen her in two years! Before that we never really had her visit us alone. It will be so nice to have her all to ourselves! She is escaping a tough situation at home with her mom, she really needs to just get away. So we are treating her to a weekend in San Diego with 80 degree weather, Disneyland, and brunch at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse. I am going crazy cleaning the house this week for her visit. She will be sleeping in Alex’s room and using his bath. Which means bug man will be sleeping with us in our bed, which also means we will get ZERO sleep (sigh). And wouldn’t you know that he has started wetting the bed again? It’s time for Pull-ups at our house, at least for next weekend at night. :-)
Spring Product Reviews? Are there going to be Spring Product reviews? I would love to do them again, our family had loads of fun with all the fun stuff and getting to play with it all. Anyone know?
Well that is it for today! Next week will be BUSY for us!
