Nicole's Diary Entries

February 17, 2004

Whew! What a crazy couple of months. I am so sorry that I have neglected my Moms Today diary! What a bad mommy I feel like. Naw, not really. I truly do understand that it is next to impossible to be Super Mom/Wife/Employee/Business Owner. Anyways... On to the Alexander Update.

Well Alex turned 4 (!) on the 3rd of this month. We had a super fun pizza party at his school, complete with cake and goody bags. I swear this kid made out like a bandit! His present count was all most what it was at Christmas time1 Gees! At least this time around everyone got our not so veiled hint that we only wanted educational toys for Alex. So he received loads of puzzles, activity books, maps (which he loves, he currently have maps of Disneyland, Sea world, the Zoo, the Wild Animal park and Lego Land up on his wall), art supplies, and clothes. I had so many thank you cards to complete. But he LOVED being the Birthday boy. As a family we took him to Disneyland (surprise?!) and had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, Alice spent loads of time with him, charming him out of his shyness. He said his favorite part was feeding French fries to the Ducks. Awww, gotta love that.

Life for Us the parents is busy. I am losing my job on the 27th, Casey is very stressed about that. It is truly a hard thing for me to discuss, so I will leave it at that. But let’s just say that I am on the job hunt, and trying to build my Mary Kay business. I really want the MK business to sky rocket, I KNOW it will.

Otherwise, Life is good, we are happy, and Alex is a joy. See you soon! I plan on updating weekly, maybe more so when I am out of a job. :O)
