Almost 32 weeks~

Hello? Is anyone still here?

First of all I am sorry that I have been MIA lately. I feel that I have been cut off from the world since I finished working and lost access to my computer! I finally made the 20-minute drive to my moms. Maxwell is happily playing outside with his grandpa and therefore I have a good 10 minutes to update you all!!

I am officially 11 ½ squares now but feeling more like double that. The combination of intense heat and lack of air conditioning is quickly driving me crazy! I have made the jump from cute pregnant girl, to “OH MY GOSH SHE IS GOING TO EXPLODE!” My belly button has decided that sticking straight out is much more comfortable and my breasts could easily double as fire hoses. (Although I must add that there is still some question as whether these are my breasts or not…) I have no new cravings other than air conditioning or an ice cold shower. Who could think of eating when it is this hot? Ok, I am definitely exaggerating…I am still eating. I even turned my oven on yesterday to make homemade chocolate chip cookies. Are there any cookies left today? Uh, well…

Although Mommy may be ready to pack it all in, baby is doing wonderfully. Growing like a weed and attending his/her daily aerobics classes. My next ultrasound is booked for June 2nd and I see my doctor on the 4th. At this appointment he will decide when he wants to do the amnio. He had initially said either in week 34 or 35 so it is right around the corner. If the amnio comes back saying that the baby’s lungs are developed he said that he would induce me the same day.

I have absolutely no fear about having this baby. It is a weird feeling. With Maxwell I was terrified of the unknown and when I delivered Clayton I was scared of everything. This time I feel ready and confident. I know that it is going to hurt but I don’t even care. I am ready for the pain. I think that the thought of holding my perfect, healthy baby in my arms outweighs all of my fears. Labor here I come!

Well there is no possible way that I could wrap this up without telling you about Maxwell’s new favorite thing! We hit the jackpot at a garage sale last weekend and bought Maxwell a Power Wheels Quad! He is in heaven! We got the Quad for $75.00 (which is a far cry from the $500 they sell for at Toy’s R Us) and it is in really good condition. The only bad thing was that it needed new batteries. We figured that they couldn’t cost that much so we took the Quad home and I called Toy’s R Us for a price. $200.00!!! Can you believe that??? They actually charge $100.00 per 6-volt battery. I decided to call a local place called Ultra Battery and I found new 6-volt Power Wheel batteries for $29.50! I told the guy at the battery place how much Toy’s R Us was charging and he couldn’t believe it. He said that they are still making a good profit on theirs. So my tip of the week is SHOP AROUND FOR POWER WHEEL BATTERIES! This little thing has already paid for itself! I get to sit in the shade in a lawn chair and cheer him on as he drives like a bat out of hell all over the farm! It is the greatest!

Well my 10 minutes are up and I am being summoned by my tanned, blonde little heartthrob! I hope that you are all doing wonderful! I will update when I know more! Have a great week!

Love Nicole

OH YEAH! Today is our 4-year wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary Mike! I love you!

Jeanette – Although I am not totally surprised that you have decided to close your diary I still feel a bit of disbelief. You have been such a fixture here at iParenting for so long I will be sad when your profile disappears from Mom’s Today. I have enjoyed getting to know you and I hope that you and Sam and Bella are wonderfully happy. Remember…I do have your email address so I will be bugging you for updates every now and then!
