Nicky's Diary Entries

August 25, 2003

Hi Everyone!

Well, we are back in full force from our trip. We had a marvelous (sp) time! In case you have not read my previous, we went to Lake of the Ozarks (Missouri) which is so fun and just beautiful! We stayed in a sort of cabin, where you could walk right up to the water and feed the ducks (Miranda's favorite) or swim in their pool or BBQ or just whatever. We also did some pretty major shopping. Big Sales! They have a huge outlet with the best stores, and we had a ball!

More importantly, it was wonderful to spend time with my mom and sister. Miranda and I have not had a girls time with them for some time, and it was just great!! My sister lived there at some point, so she knows where all the good places are to go. We went out for a dinner which cost as much as I make in a week, and I have to say, it was good, but not that good! Really, I just felt so guilty spending so much on food. It is crazy, and I will probally not do that again for a long time!

It is so hard to get back into the grooved after being gone for a little bit. I cannot get motivated to do any work, and my house is only clean because DH cleaned the entire house while I was gone, including the fridge! Thanks honey!

I am going to a crop (Scrapbooking) tonight, and cannot wait. I am going to do a page of my dog just doing nothing, and one of Miranda doing gymnastics. She has earned a few ribbons, which I thought would be fun to scrap with pics of her at the gym. I hope they turn out. We'll see. Well, I hope everyone had as wonderful of weekend as I did. I hope to hear from you soon!

Hugs,
Nicky
