Lauren's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

June 5, 2005

Hi everyone. We are doing well. Annabelle and Serena are doing very good. They are sleeping right now and I have a free minute so I decided to write a quick entry. I am watching my friends two children for a week, she is in the National Guard and is doing her two weeks this summer. She has a three year old and one who is going to be five in July so the kids are close in age and get along pretty good. On other news, my sister had a new baby on June the 5th. She named him Daniel and he weighed in at 5lbs 10 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. They are doing well, he was born four weeks and one day early but luckily no problems from him. She already has three children. Santo who will be four June 19th, Kylee who will be 3 October 3rd and Charlotte who turned one April 28th. She has her hands full that is for sure. I do have to say though, I was in the room when he was born and that has to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I have had two chilren myself but seeing that birth and being on the end was pretty awesome. I was so shocked at all of the emotions that came over me. On to other things I am going to start college in August. I am going to go for nurseing. I can't wait, right now I am a CNA and can't wait to move up. I am working full time right now and would like to go part time but I am not sure if I am going to. As far as funny things go, Serena made me laugh so hard the other day. We went to the store and I let each of the kids pick out a toy and she picked out some pom poms and when we got home and got out of the car she said mommy will please give me my tampons now. I laughed so hard and said no they are pom poms and then she went in the house and said daddy daddy I got some new tampons, it was so funny. Annabelle is growing up fast, she starts school this year. She is very excited about it. I am starting to buy her some school clothes now. All in all it has been a wonderful week. I hope that all of you are doing ok as well.

Love,
Lauren, Annabelle and Serena
