Quick update:
Scheduled to be induced no later than the end of this week! No real major complications - I've had some high blood pressure readings but it went back down this week. I think we're mainly concerned that this baby is going to be MUCH bigger than Katie was! Did I mention they estimated him at 6lbs, 9oz TWO WEEKS ago?! Yowzers!
I'm dilated to 2, but that's about it in terms of progress, baby is still pretty high. Hey, it's farther than I was before I went in with Katie, so there's hope that this might be even easier - or hey, maybe I'll go into labor on my own, stranger things have happened! DH is NOT ready for me to go into labor on my own - he keeps saying he doesn't want that surprise. I, on the other hand, am QUITE ready. Funny how he and I are of such different minds on this one!
Feeling okay, but very uncomfortable at night, and now all three of us have this head/chest cold that's been going around. K and I seem to have it the worst, but it's affected C enough that he is snoring like a grizzly - which is why I am wide awake and on the couch at 5 a.m. on a Saturday morning - grrrr!
Katie is just having a grand old time these days. Finished swim lessons and loved it. She's currently into reading nursery rhymes, which is fine, except we have a REALLY cheesy copy with all the old words to them (not the Mother Goose version) and I'm getting a little tired of them! I've got to dig up my old nursery rhyme book from my parents' house and bring it home - I remember liking that much better!
My next update should be all about our newest arrival! :)
