Lara's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
December 27, 2002
Yes, we are all alive and well! It's been almost a month since I updated my diary and I just wanted to post a quick update.
Our Christmas was great! It was very, very busy and still is (that's why I've had no time to post). My in-laws are still here and my sister and her family are due to arrive on Monday. So this past week we've had all of DH's family in town and next week we have all of my family in town. Macy is so excited about seeing her cousins!
As I said we had a great Christmas! We were all blessed beyond measure. I know "they" say this was the worst shopping season in 30 yrs, but you would have never known it at our house. We did our part at keeping the economy going :o) Macy is still sorting through her toys trying to play with each and every one of them. Erin is loving her new LeapFrog desk and is already pulling herself up and standing.
BTW, Erin did finally start crawling about 2 weeks ago. She learned to crawl and pull up on everything in the same week. It's been fun trying to keep her out of the tree, but she's already learning to what "no touch" means and is really doing well. I can't believe she's going to be a year old in less than 6 wks! That just doesn't seem possible.
Well, I better run. My house and laundry are in dire need of attention. My MIL is going to play with the girls all day so I can get my house back in order.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a terrific New Year. I will post a longer entry later.
Take care,
Lara, Macy & Erin
