Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 27, 2004

Well, I figure I'd better post an entry before iParenting does some housekeeping and clears me out of here!

Sarah-34 months (or almost 3)
Joshua-10 months (or almost 1)

Let's see...in the last entry, we were about to be hit by Hurricane Frances. As I'm sure you all know, after Frances came Ivan (which missed us) and then Jeanne (which hit us). It was like living in the twilight zone or something. It was so bizarre, no one could believe it!

Thankfully, everything has been back to normal for about a month now. Sarah has been doing MUCH better. She has gotten back on track with the potty and sleeping, for which we are VERY grateful! Her newest obsession is Dora. All things Dora. She has Dora's Pirate Adventure, which we watch pretty much daily. We are even planning her a Dora party for her birthday. I don't mind though, b/c it's a good show and she learns a lot.

Josh is doing good. He has his cranky spots when he is teething or sick, but otherwise, he is the happiest baby you could ever meet. Everyone loves him to pieces and they always want to hold him! He babbles a lot, mostly consonants with an "a", such as ba, da, ma, va, etc. He crawls everywhere, and he's quick! He does an army crawl and it's really cute. He also tries really hard to pull up on things. Anyday now I think he'll get it. He can go from a sitting position into a crawl, but not vice-versa. However, last night, around midnight he woke up and was crying. I went to his crib to see what was wrong and he was sitting up!! Not quite sure how that happened, but I guess he was as surprised as I was! LOL.

As far as me and Moe, things have been rough. We've had a lot of stress lately and we are trying to get things under control. His job gets really busy this time of year, and it's always hard for us.

My business suffered due to the hurricanes, but things are getting back on track now. I am so excited about the holiday season and the great stuff we are selling! It is so much fun to get together with friends and pamper yourself!

Anyway, that's all for now. Gotta go eat lunch before nap time is over!

TTYL,
Jennifer
