Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 29, 2003

I was just going to post this at all my regular boards, but that would have been far too time consuming. So, I decided to make it into an entry instead.

Sarah- 20 months old.
Me- 24 weeks pg.

Our phone has been down since mid-Wednesday. We just got it back (Friday evening)!! This was a nightmare for me- allow me to paint a picture:

Around the same time our phones went down on Wednesday, Sarah started to get sick. Her nose was running like a faucet, but she also had her hands in her mouth a lot, so I thought it was just teething. Not so. She passed this lovely germ on to her father, who, in turn, shared it with me. Aren't we a close family? UGH!

So, now we are all sick, DH still has to go to work, and I am stuck at home with a sick toddler, sick me, no car, and no phone!! Which also means no internet!!! Let me tell you, I don't know how I survived. Not to mention the fact that almost all of my business takes place over the phone and e-mail. I was completely screwed.

Anyway, I am still feeling miserable, but at LEAST the phone is back on. (Although my husband tells me that they have apparently crossed our line with someone else's, so don't be surprised if I disappear again for a few days! Stupid Bell South!) I am finding a backlog of all my business e-mails, and I am panicking.

Well, I better go now. If you are so inclined, please pray for us. I would really hate to waste this precious 3-day weekend sucking on throat drops and wiping away mucus. =(

TIA,

Jennifer
