Wow! I am doing good! Only 10 days between updates this time. Yippie!
Just for fun, I measured and weighed the kids this week.
Sarah is 27 months old.
She weighs 25 pounds.
She is 33.5 inches tall.
Joshua is 3 months old.
He weighs 15 pounds!
He is 24 inches tall.
That means that Josh already weighs more than half what Sarah does!! Sheesh! Everyone keeps telling me that he is going to catch up to her and pass her. How strange would that be for her to look UP and say, "That my little brother." LOL.
Sarah is definitely going through the terrible 2's. She is pushing people at school (to be fair, though, everyone is her class does that). She is also WHINING a lot, and cries for no reason sometimes. It is definitely driving me crazy!! If anyone has any experience in this dept., I would love to hear how you MAKE THE WHINING STOP!!!
She has her good points, too, though. She is just about the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She is so caring and compassionate. Whenever anyone gets hurt, she says, "You okay?" and she will try to comfort them. If I ever mention that I am sad or hurt or sick, she prays for me. And she is always showering me with kisses and saying things like, "I just love you SO much!" She sure knows how to lift your spirits. =)
Josh is wonderful, of course. Most of the time, he is a smiling happy baby. He is discovering his hands and they are constantly in his mouth! It's really fun to see him babbling at the toys that hang over his play mat, and reach out to touch them. He is cooing and interacting, but his favorite person to chat with is daddy. He will just talk endlessly with Moe. It is so cute! I think Moe is really enjoying his little boy. What I love about my DH, though, is that he truly loves both of them so much! He really doesn't prefer one over the other. He loves bonding with Josh, but he is also always talking about how sweet Sarah is and how much he loves her. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family! 0=)
Let's see...tomorrow our daughter's school has their annual auction starting at 3:00, so that should be fun. Also, my parents are taking Sarah to this thing called "Cracker Day". I guess it's like a rodeo-type thing. I had no interest in it, but my mom thought Sarah would like the animals, etc. I am not complaining b/c it will give Moe and I some quiet time- a rare commmodity indeed!
Moe's birthday is coming up in two weeks and I have an awesome surprise planned for him. I am not going to write it in here, b/c there is a possibility he reads this. I promise I will post it after the fact, though. =)
Well, anyway, I guess that's it for now. Gotta go run some errands. Take care, everyone! Hug you kids- they are precious.
=)
