Emily 2 years, 3 months

(I've added a few pictures to Emily's Photo Gallery)
This morning I took a pregnancy test and got a faint pink line. Emily is going to be a big sister!!! I'm so excited. I'm also very nervous. I'm only 4 weeks along and my last miscarriage 2 months ago was at 5 weeks. I've been having some mild cramping. I am praying it is just my body making room for the lil bean. No spotting. Tons of symptoms including morning sickness, sore bbs, super sense of smell, post nasal drip, and I keep bumping into things!!
I was going to try to wait until tomorrow to share the news with Jeremy on Father's Day but the cramping has made me so nervous I needed his support today. I feel so bad that I haven't been able to make a well planned elaborate announcement for him. I've never been good at keeping a secret so I guess he's not expecting much from me in that area :)
Right now I'm praying that we have a healthy, happy baby in nine months.
I think now would be a good time for me to write something for Jeremy for Father's Day.
Jeremy,
Thank you for being the great father that you are. I'm so glad that you worked from home the first year and a half of Emily's life and witnessed all the "firsts" right along with me. You have always been so "hands on" and a huge source of strength and comfort for both Emily and me. Not only did you join me in all my prenatal appointments, but you went with Emily and I to all her well-check appointments. You were there to dry Emily's tears after shots. I know it was always hard for you to see your little girl scared and hurting but you never made the excuse that you were too busy with work to come with us. You always have time for Emily, no matter how tired you are. You always put mine and Emily's needs first before your own. I love to see you and Emily together. I love to see how you can make Emily's face light up like nobody else can. Thank you for being everything that you are. I love you. Happy Father's Day!
Love,
Jennifer
