A little more about me and the boys-

Obviously everyone can count and see that I had Joey at 17. He was a surprise, but never a mistake. I wasn't your typical teen mom, I was already living alone, had a steady job and was still in high school. I just had a bad relationship and didn't think much about protection. But Joey is such a blessing to me and I don't regret any of the decisions I made that brought him to me.

I met Jon in 1999, through the internet, of all things. I was living with my mom at the time (long story) and was just learning my way around the web. We were engaged a few short months later, and Joshie was conceived soon after that. Josh was very planned and I had a wonderful pregnancy and birth with both of my boys.

Which is why last November I decided to become an egg donor for a couple who had problems with infertility. I knew that I make beautiful children and it came so easy for me so I had to help someone who couldn't have children on their own. Late December the eggs were retrieved and the IP's are due in two months. But the sad thing is that after all that, my body has reacted badly to the drugs that I took during the process. Thus, now I'm having trouble getting pregnant myself. For some reason I'm not ovulating and my doctor says it has something to do with the retrieval. But I'm hoping that things will get better with time and if not, I'm more than happy to have the children that I already am a mother to.

I breastfed Joey till he was 3, and Josh till he was 2 1/2. Joey co-slept with us till he was 2 1/2, and Joshie still sleeps with us. I love the feeling of waking up to my little boy, kissing his soft cheek. I could do without the kicks in the back and the elbows in the eye, but the pros outweigh the cons :).

Well, until next time..pardon any errors, usually I read through what I write, but Jon needs the computer, so gotta rush. Please stop by my TTM board, I love questions and I'm really hard to offend so anything goes.
