Today my little dolly-doll, Ireland, turns ONE! Oh how her first year has flown by and it’s so hard to believe that my little girl is already a year old. It’s a bittersweet moment, for sure. I love her growing independence and how she’s soaking up knowledge and understanding like crazy, but I’m also scared and sad to let her baby time go. I’ve been thinking about the night she was born all week, reminiscing and looking back on her beautiful birth. What an amazing night that was!
Monday we are opening presents and celebrating with birthday cupcakes, and then on Saturday we are having her birthday party. Then she’ll get to smash and thrash cake all over the kitchen to her hearts content.
Happy, Happy Birthday Ireland!
PS. Most of you already know that I hardly update this site. I keep a blog and update on that almost daily. I've done a birthday slideshow about Ireland's first year, that's on my blog for those of you who visit me there. I will be closing out my iP diary soon. It's hard for me to do because I've been a writer for iP since 1999 but the time has come. You can email me at Foghorn72@yahoo.com if you need or want to keep in touch! :)
Happy holidays to everyone and God Bless!
