Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 5, 2004

July 5th, 2003

I've literally just walked in the front door from spending a night at the ER and two days in the hospital. I had a severe gall bladder attack which started at 1am, Sunday morning and ended when I had surgery at 9am this morning to have my gall bladder removed. Totally unexpected and PAINFUL! The surgeon said I had lots of stones one even the cystic duct. I was in some misery, let me tell you.

As if that wasn't enough, after surgery, my heart rate climed and stayed at around 145-150 bpm for most of the day. It came down to around 94 tonight, so they released me. I have an appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow.

I'm home right now, staying off my feet. Mark just made me some soup and I'm trying to rest up. I'll be back soon to tell you all the gorey details.

Did you know that gall bladder problems are really common after pregnancy?

Send me lots of healthy vives, please.
