On Valentines Day, since the girls are too little to understand a card, I wanted to journal some of the things I like to think about when I am away from them. My family is so dear to me, and I am so thankful for them!
Dear Sweet Hannah Banana
1. I love how you call me “mammy.”
2. I love how you insist on everyone knowing “My mommy.”
3. I love how you demand that I fall asleep with you each night when it is time for bed.
4. I love how you sit with Camryn and I after our baths and we rock in the recliner.
5. I love when I come to pick you up, I can hear you yelling my name before I get out of the car.
6. I love being your best friend and best playmate.
7. I love you happy little smile, and your sweet little hands.
Camryn Grace, Pretty Face
1. I love the way you gnaw on my chin when your gums are itching.
2. I love how you sleepily nuzzle your face into my neck when I dance with you to calm you down.
3. I love the gummy smiles and coos that I get each day when I come in from work
4. I love how you begin to fuss if I do not quickly pick you up and kiss you hello.
5. I love how you sit in you bouncy chair each morning and talk and babble to me while I put on my make up.
6. I love your gentle nature and our peacefulness.
7. I love how you look at me as if I am the best mommy in the whole world.
Gary
1. I love how you think of me as the best mommy in the world, and often jokingly refer to me as “Mommy of the Year.”
2. I love how you work so hard each day to support your family.
3. I love how you enjoy planning family outings, and then understand when I decide it is too rainy, hot, cold, windy, or sunny, etc for the girls.
4. I love how you are so eager to fulfill each of my “Will you,” and “Please get me” requests
5. I love how each time Hannah turns her head, you try to steal a kiss.
6. I love the way you smell in the morning when you are leaving for work.
7. I cherish you!
It is so hard to list everything that I love about each of you, I am so thankful for my family and the blessings that God has given me. The things I am most thankful for is that you chose me to be your wife, and mother!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
