Two weeks till Christmas! We are trying for a Christmas Eve dinner with my in laws then spend Christmas day with my family. Hopefully that will work out and everybody will be happy. Since we spent Thanksgiving at home with the in laws, I am hoping they will be understanding about the arrangements for Christmas. This is my favorite time of year. We have the boys a few gifts, just not under the tree yet. Knowing Noah he would tear them right open. I can't wait to see the boys eyes Christmas morning. Waking up Christmas morning and the thrill of seeing what "santa" brought, is so fun.
Well the home is starting to get back to normal, Don is back to work, Austin is in school, I am in class, and life is slowly getting back to the norm. Or is it? A year ago we lived in a townhome. Lots of room, then Don got a promotion. He went from assistant manager to manager of his own property. It was good at first, but now we are getting so cramped in this little 2 bedroom apartment. I have been complaining, trying to downsize. So wanting my townhome back! Praying for a bigger place. Then Don said he was going to mention to his supervisor about going back to the old property if possible. Well this morning our prayers were answered. The phone rings and it is Don's supervisor, but Don was sleeping. Don calls him back later in the morning. Don's supervisor told Don that he is the only manager that knows the property we WERE on. So we are going back to QRE. This time in a townhome with a basement and 3 bedrooms. YEAH! Don starts over there Monday. We are not sure on when we will start moving. We have to wait till the detail the townhome. Walls need painted, carpets cleaned, etc. Then we will go from there on when we move. It will be after Christmas. I would rather wait till the holiday is over. Austin will be in a school with his friends, my friends are at the old place. Don is excited about the move and promotion. We haven't told Austin yet, only because he is in school today, but boy he will be thrilled to be going back to his old school and his friends over there.
Winter is here, and full blown too. Snow, snow and more snow on the way. We got a nice little snow storm a couple days ago, enough to dismiss school. It is melting off, but yet they are calling for more snow to come in late tonight and tomorrow. I will admit it, I hate snow and ice. I like the warmer weather. Give me florida any day. But the kids love the snow. Austin is ready for the new snow so he can build a snowman, and have snowball fights with his friends. Ahh, the fun times of being a young child.
