Time for another update. I guess I will start with the boys and the party plans. Well we are having the party at our place. I am hoping the weather is nice so we can go outside and play some games. I have a few in mind, so lets hope the weather is nice that day. It is going to be a combo party for both boys. The only draw back is it is going to be crowded in here with everyone. But we will manage. I can't believe Noah will be 2 already, and Austin is going to be 7. WHAT?!?!! My gosh my kids are growing up fast!
Austin
~~~~~~~
Man this kid is growing up, and impressing me more and more everyday. Though he is doing good in school, I am not real happy with his teacher. She just acts as if she doesn't care to much for Austin, and brushed me and Don off everytime we go to one of those open house meetings. Some things she has wrote on Austin's papers has upset Don and I both and we are meeting with her to talk about this. We are seriously thinking of moving him to the other 1st grade classroom. It is too long to go into detail. But one example of her "way" is on a paper the kids had to draw pictures of 4 animals she made a note: "pictures?" then on the side put "is this the best you can do?" I was appauled! Austin has never been into coloring, drawing, etc. And to critisize his drawing abilities at the age of 7 is, well stupid and rude! I get no updates on his reading either. Though I was reminded by Don that we asked for a weekly report on how he is doing. Nothing yet and it has been about 4 weeks. Nice huh!!! Things will get lined out real soon, cause I will not allow my son's education to be less than perfect. I want him to get the most out of school, and this school seems to want to turn their nose up at me. Not gonna have that! Hopefully I don't have to show my ugly side, but will if need be. I don't think the school wants to see me get nasty either. It is not a pretty site!
Noah
Well little mister is going potty now and then. We are going full force starting this week. See if we can get him outta diapers soon. He is talking more. He is going through a phase of certian words right now:
"why?"
"cause!"
"I can't"
He is so dang cute. He stayed with my mom last night, and this morning she called and said how funny he is and how much she enjoyed him. Yep, Noah, the little ham. Gets that from his brother. Noah is a big hugger too. Especially when mom is trying to paint her toe nails or finger nails. It never fails when I do this, here comes Noah, "hug, momma!" Yes, or he will put his foot in my face. Wanting some attention done to his toes. HAA! Such a cutie!
ME
~~~~
Well last weekend my friend, Jennifer, took me to the movies. It was a blast. We watched Bruce Almighty. I had already seen this with Heather C, but it is such a great movie I watched it again. I laughed even more this time. Gotta get that on DVD! This weekend we all went to a Christian concert at a local church then went and visited with Jen and her family, plus a couple other friends. It was a blast.
Well tomorrow I join weight watchers. A friend is going to join me too. I am excited about this, and it is only 10 dollars a week. Hopefully I will have some weight off by Christmas, and "santa" will bring me some smaller size clothes. My goal is to be back into my old size of 9's by next Christmas. Then I will get my tatoo I want. Right now I love to shop but when it comes time to try stuff on, thats when I get depressed. UGH! My kids are getting older and I have NO excuse to look or feel this way, so I am taking the first step to do something about it. I am not normally this size and by gosh I am getting back the body I had before.
Today we are going to the pumpkin patch. Me, Don, Austin, Noah, my mom, sister and her girls. Then picnic afterwards. I can't wait, and I am going to take some pictures while we are there.
That's it for now.
Christa
