Christa's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

August 25, 2003

Two weeks from today and I will be on a cruise ship heading for the Bahamas! Let the countdown begin!

Austin's first day back to school was today. Such a big boy! He got up this morning, got ready, and was ready to head out the door 30 minutes before time to leave. A little excited was he? Haha! After getting there, and following the maze of a hallway system, we found his room. On the other end of the school. We walked in and met the teacher, Ms. G, and found his seat. All desks had math books on it. I was shocked, I guess I am still in the kindergarten mind set. The class room was really cute. Not as many kids in this class as last years school. Thank God! Of course there is about 3 or 4 1st grade class rooms. I did have one beef with this school, NO AIR! I can not believe in this day and age that there was NO air just 2 ceiling fans! I can honestly say I was pissed! It is supposed to be 110 with the heat index. I can only imagine what it will be in that class room. Maybe why they are getting out early today?!! Austin acted like such a big kid, and "mom no kissing!" I got a hug, and then was sent on my way by my own child. He is growing up, and I gotta face facts.

Noah is going to the doctor today. He got a runny nose from the babysitters little girl. And he still has it, and coughing. He was running a fever last night. So mom skipped classes today and taking him to the doctor. I am noticing a scratchy voice too. Hummm. We will know later what is wrong.
