Well the CAT scan came back normal and so did the blood work. Now to wait till next Wednesday for the EEG. That is going to be one LONG day for both of us. Austin hates needles of any kind. I didn't have the heart to tell him last night that they would be putting an IV in today. For the simple reason that he would FREAK out. Which he got scared today when the nurse and I told him they had to put an IV in his arm. As soon has he heard that he took the towel and covered his arm. My heart broke when he told me he was scared. My poor little guy. The nurse was great she told him everything she was doing right before she did it. I couldn't get Austin to keep his eyes on me instead of the nurse and the needle. After the IV was in she let Austin push the button to shot the needle into the tube before throwing it away. He thought that was just cool. He looked around wondering where the needle went. The nurse told him it was magic ;-)
She called the IV macaroni. Ha! Then off to have the CAT scan done. Everything came back normal. The doctor said when she called today that after the EEG next week it will take a couple days to get the results so she will be calling on that Friday. After that we will know where to go from there. The radiologist even gave Austin an extra xray to take home so he can show everyone his brain. Haha! He thought that was just cool!
Next Tuesday I will have to put Austin to bed real early because I have to wake him at 1 am Wednesday morning, keep him awake so he will be real tired for the EEG. I will be drinking LOTS of coffee that morning. YAWN!
Noah has his check up with the ENT Friday afternoon. I am still going to ask about having his hearing checked. He has 1 volume level and that is LOUD. So we are concerned about the hearing. He is tugging at his right ear too. I am hoping and praying we don't have to have tubes put in again.
Yesterday while we had Austin at the doctors office he laid down and we were looking at that one "messed up" tooth. That dang thing won't loosen up for the world. Well time to call the dentist. The one thing I was hoping I wouldn't have to do. But Don spotted the permanant tooth coming in behind the baby one. Great! So I am hoping to get him in real soon and get that thing pulled. I hate when people see him and ask "what happened to his tooth?" UGH! After about the millionth time it gets so old. I proced to tell about him falling off a bed and so on....Old story that I don't like telling, only because it brings up some old memories.
I recieved word from my school this past week. They are wanting me to go to the airport to talk to HR about a job. Different than the last one. So as soon as I can get my kids all well I want to head over and try to get this job. Hopefully it won't be late night shift. I would never see my family that way.
Ever have days where you could just swear you were reliving a time in your life or your had a dream it would happen? I know the word for this but the spelling...no. haha. We have been having alot of this lately. I always feel that when this happens something is going to change in our lives. If so, I wonder what?!! Last couple times it was I got PG with Noah and then Don go promoted. Life is ever changing, and that is always something to look forward too. I wouldn't want a boring life where nothing changes. Change can be good ;-)
