Sickness in the house! UGH! First Austin was home last week with a very sore throat, then Noah, now Don.

I finally am starting to decorate the house. Slowly but surely. I found the perfect stuff for my kitchen. Though I had a "plan" of what the theme was going to be in the kitchen, dining and living room, things have changed. We originally were going to go with a jungle type theme. BUT..that changed. I thought about it, shopped around and it just wasn't going to work. That and I was getting a little scared that I would get sick of all the dark decor after a while. We decided to go with a French feel in the kitchen/dining room and some what of a Vienna decor to the living room. It all flows nicely. I am so happy with what I got so far for the kitchen/dining room. And yesterday Don brought me home my wedding set from the store. We had to have it sized. And he also went to my favorite store in the mall for home decor, Kirklands, and bought me a big picture for my living room. I have had my eye on this picture for a while and it finally went on sale! It is perfect! I can't wait to see the end product, when I am done decorating. I am really getting into this. I have always loved decorating, but this different. I don't know why, but it is.

I can not begin to discribe my joy, excitment, of having my wedding set back. It feels so good to have it back on my finger.

News on the job front! Just a normal, hectic day on the homefront, right? Wrong! My teacher calls me today and tells me of a job lead. Not with an agency, but at an airport! She does this same job and seems to think I would be great at it. She is sending in my resume this evening and I will be getting a call from the airline this week for an interview. It would be really great to get a job so soon. I don't know what the hours would be, but will find that out this week. There is a full time and part time opening. So, we will see! It will be a great opportunity for me to work more with the system they run there. YIKES, time to find a sitter or daycare!

Noah still insists on calling the van a boat. Anytime he wants to go somewhere he says "go now in boat." No matter how much we try to explain it is a van, he insists it's a boat. hehe. Kind of cute!

I will be meeting with Austin's teacher Monday afternoon to talk about how he is doing. She said he has made a great progress into the new class. So that is always good news, especially moving to the school midway through the year.

It is starting to feel more like spring outside. Oh please, let it be. No more bad weather! No more snow, ice, sleet, freezing temps! I am ready for the nice weather to come and stay.

Well I am off to take Noah to a sitters for a while and get some major stuff done today.

Have a great week.

Christa
