February 12, 2004
Let's start this off with the good news. Well I finished school as some may know. After 14 months of cramming every possible thing into my head, I am done. I am now an official travel agent, or travel counselor as some may call it. I don't do the actual graduation until this summer. Since it is a community college they have 2 graduations a year. Mine will fall around June. So it will be nice and hot! But hey I don't care. This is a major accomplishment. Not the only one, my proudest are my two boys. I am taking sometime to be mom, the boys have so missed me while I was in night class. So time to spend time with the family, get this house back in shape. Boy does it need it! I must go shopping for "proper work attire". Cause this SAHM doesn't have the clothes. Haa! I am a little nervous about going back to work.
Finally got a van! After lots of car shopping, headaches, we found it. She is white, with 2 sliding doors. A 1999 Dodge Caravan. Not new, but new to us. The boys love it and so do we. I fight Don for it at times. Haha! Jokingly!
Austin is doing very well in school. It warms my heart to see school paper with a note from the teacher, with a sticker, the notes usually say, "I am so proud of your hard work Austin." "Great job Austin." Austin will just grin when I say something about it. Tonight we filled out valentine's card for his party at school tomorrow. The first one filled out was to his "girlfriend". YIKES! Girlfriend?!!! And of course Noah just HAD to help us with the cards. Some kids may get a card tomorrow that is a little wrinkled. Noahs part, I guess was to crinkle a few cards. haha!
Noah, well yet again he has stumped me. This time with his shoes. One day he has both of them the next I can't find the mate for nothing. We looked high and low for the darn thing and it is just missing. So I found the cutest pair of Nike today. Noah followed me through the store holding his new shoes (in box) with a proud look on his sweet little face. He was darn proud of those shoes! Mommy found some boots and shoes that she wants but I will go another time this week to get them. They were having a pretty good sale!
Well when I thought we were all healthy, Noah proves me wrong. He got sick tonight. Just briefly. Kind of strange. He vomits for a while then he is done, off and running, wanting to play. Humm. I am wondering if he has the flu or if something just upset his little tummy. I hope it is the ladder of the two. Austin just got over a sore throat.
Well that about wraps things up for now. Not unless we have some exciting news to report or some crisis.
Have a great weekend, and Happy Valentine's Day!
Christa
