March 28, 2003
This wont be long. Just wanted to let my faithful readers know I haven't forgotten them. Im counting on April to bring better things, a new start in every sense of the term!. The very same week I was going through the early miscarriage,I was notified of my dads death. My heart felt broken into a 1000 pieces, but its at those times I can feel Gods comfort more purely. My dad and I had not been close for most of my life. In the last few years as I have let Gods love come into my heart and heal past hurts,my love for my dad had blossomed like never before.I had hoped to have him in my life again. He chose not to be,except for the occasional phone call.I was, however, able to write him several letters explaining what was happening in my own heart and that in spite of difficult times we had shared in the past,I loved him very much. I am so glad I took the time to write those letters..... That is my message for this post,I suppose. Take time to write that letter, make that call, pray that prayer, make that visit or hug that hug. And take time to kiss those dear little faces who have blessed your lives. Love,Catherine
