Carmajo's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Hello everyone!
I am sorry it has taken me so long to post another entry. Our house has been total chaos for weeks. I just can't seem to keep up with anything.
Thank the Lord, I am going back to my normal schedule at work with less hours. I sure hope this will make a difference. I know Adrianna already likes me coming home at 3pm vs 4pm. We have more "playtime" before supper and our evening routine.
Adrianna turned 18 months while we were on vacation. Her behavior, personality and looks are changing with the wind. I know and most certainly hope this is a phase but she has begun some aggressive behavior patterns. She will push Jessica (14 month old fellow daycare child) down when she pulls herself up on furniture. She will point to anyone and everyone and say "NO!" I wonder where she got that one?? hmmm...Yes I am guilty as charged. It is so embarassing when she does that in the grocery store. I have tried to explain to her that she should not point or yell NO at anyone but it is pointless at this age. No pun intended.
Adrianna's temper tantrums are losing their luster. She will still throw them but they only last a few seconds when she has realized "Hey Mommy is not even paying attention to me."
The motherly instinct is already popping up in Adrianna's playing. She likes to diaper her babies, give them sippy cups, bottles and binkies. She will even push them around in her baby stroller. I just love to watch her play babies and tea party. It has been a hard 18 months but these times are definitely making me realize I want to have a sibling for Adrianna.
We have added a few new words to Adrianna's vocabulary. Juice and shoes are her fav!
By the way, everything liquid is juice.
Shoes.....not only one of her favorite words but she is already a shoe-hound.
She is constantly changing shoes and walking around in Mommy and Daddy's shoes. I can already tell we will share a love of shoes. Yea!!!!
I finally made it to my dreaded annual visit to my fav OB-GYN doc. I again explained how irregular my cycles are and the I am pretty positive that I am not ovulating. This is not new for me but he finally gave me a medical diagnosis or at least his opinion. PCOS! I was in utter shock! It took us 2 years to conceive Adrianna but I figured the only problem was I only have one open tube to my cervix and also a unicornuate uterus which can cause difficulty in implantation. Now to have this medical opinion thrown on to the table has bummed me out. After some online research, reading in my pregnancy books I do believe the doctor is correct. Although I am not obese, I could stand to lose 10-15 pounds. I fit all the other symptoms perfectly. What a bummer! My doc wants me to trying taking a drug normally for diabetics. The name has slipped my mind. I have not filled the prescription yet and not sure if I will right now because we have decided to put TTC on hold until we move next spring or summer. Glucophage, that is it! Anyone have an opinion on this treatment or warnings for me? Once we are TTC we are also going to throw Clomid in the meds also. All of this will be thrown on the back burner while we focus on moving out west next year. I will update everyone on our progess in my next entry.
I have to cut this entry short. We are dog-sitting for my In-Laws and Oscar-Meyer (yes he is a dauschound) is driving me nuts whining.
I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day Weekend!
Till next entry,
Carmajo
