We took a trip to Oceanside California. It was about an hour from our apartment.
We had planned on meeting an old friend of mine from High School but our wires must have crossed wrong because I wasn't able to get a hold of her.
Adrianna's first reaction was "ucky!" She would not walk on the sand. I looked awful goofy carrying a clingy 2 year old across the beach in the bathing suit while she was yelling "ucky" and pointing to the sand.
I did not swim on this trip because good ole' AF showed up in full force and I didn't want to attract any sharks.
Rob carried Adrianna out to the water. She was terrified at first but after a few minutes she did not want to get out even though she was shivering and her lips were a light shade of blue from being cold. We finally persuaded her to play on the beach collecting rocks. It was so much fun to watch my little girl explore new things. I can't wait to go back so I can enjoy the water with her.
