I had to get a new entry up. I hope I don't seem like the crazy Mom. I had to get that awful title off the diary page.
After I got to thinking, I realized how disrespectful that is to a fellow diary writer, Corinn who is going through a terrible time right now. Corrin and family you have been in my thoughts and prayers. I pray your little ones are back home.
***Terrible Two's***
They are terrorizing my house! I can take everything but the aggressive behavior. Adrianna has taken to hitting, grabbing and scrathing me in my face when I pick her up from something off limits or dangerous (ie standing on the kitchen table.) I am still working on the FIRM "NO!" I have been reading a book called "Making the terrible two's teriffic" by John Rosemond. He made a valid point saying "A two year old does not understand or comprehend the word "don't" Duh! When she hears "don't slap Mommy" it registers as "slap Mommy" and there it goes again. Now, I am working on my NO tone without sound liking a raging off the wall Mother.
~~~~2nd Birthday Party~~~
We are having Adrianna's party this Saturday. Our small family party will consist of 20 people including 7 children under the age of 7. Fingerpainting will be the amusement and probably a mess but hey it's a party.
We are doing the Pooh and friends theme.
Adrianna is getting a tricycle from Mommy and Daddy. I can't wait to film her driving it down the driveway. We have no sidewalks so this will be interesting. I have a feeling it will be a back porch toy.
I will share all the after party news next week.
