Carmajo's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
February 7, 2004
My title is Adrianna's daily obsession from Finding Nemo. The hand slap, head bonkin' and finger pointin' are Adrianna's new favorite pasttime. She will actually boink her head against the wall and point at the wall saying "dude!" It amazes how much a 23 month old can retain. She is like a sponge! She can perform Wiggles' dances with not one mistake in sight.
Adrianna's stats (Stolen idea from Tanya's diary.)
Age:23 months
Height:34 inches
Weight: 27 lbs.
Clothing size: 24 mos - 2t
Shoe size: 7 (big feet!)
Fav words: No, Mama, Daddy!
Biggest obstacle: hitting
Binky status: still in use
Health: recovering from ear infection and 3 round of bronchalitis.
My lil' love bug is growing up to be such a big girl. She is starting to show some independence. Lately she likes to sit down with me and watch Baby Story. She loves the beginning of the show where the mother's belly is shown. She gets soooo excited. I can't wait to have a sibling for her to love and play with.
Adrianna got her second ear infection since her tubes. I was really worried when her fever hit 103.3. We took her to the After Hours Clinic last weekend to have her checked. I was surprised to find out it was her ear but glad it wasn't a viral infection she would have to suffer through. We started Amoxil antibiotic right away. She seemed to be getting worse a few days later so I took her back to the doctor only to find out she had bronchialitis. The nurse practictioner seems to think she had RSV last year when she had her first episode of bronchialitis but it was missed at the hospital. She said it is very rare to have multiple occurrences of bronchialitis without a prior RSV infection. I hope she will out grow this. It breaks my heart to hear her breathing sound like a 60 year old man with a chronic lung disease. After a few days of more medication she is better and back to her old self.
We have finished painting our house and will be putting it up for sale by owner in the next month. I am very nervous about showing it and keeping it clean with a 2 year old running destruction detail everyday. I am very anxious to get it sold and move on the next phase of our lives.
The sooner we sell it, the sooner we move and then the sooner we can start ttc a little sister or brother for Adrianna. YEAH! I can't wait!
In closing, my heart goes out to Corinn a fellow diary writer. I hope this awful situation is resolved soon and your boys are back in your arms.
