Introduction

I’m calling it quits, once again. I can’t remember how long ago it was that I asked for an iP diary. Eventually, I gave up, and started a blog. And, as is so often the case, I pretty much immediately received an iP diary.

Truth be told, I can’t keep up with both. And I refuse to double post identical entries, I think it’s cheating. *grin* That and there are things that I say on one that I wouldn’t say on the other.

So, what I’m trying to say is adios, ciao, sayonara, Auf Wiedersehen, and toodles. This time for sure.

Candace and the Family

Also, the entry before this was meant as a vent. I was at my wit’s end. It’s a pity it’s been up so long, because that’s not really how the kids are 90% of time.

I can take Alexandria to a restaurant for a sit down dinner, dessert and appetizer included, and she will behave. I define behave as remain seated for the entire meal, and speak quietly to whomever her dining companion is. She will read to Victoria when Al or I are busy. She needs more love (especially from her stressed out mom). She can read, she can spell, and the other day I spelled something to Al, and she knew what I was talking about. She loves the pool, and the Power Puff Girls, although she’s never seen any episodes, except at a friend’s house. Victoria is so cuddly, playful, and loving. She loves to be outdoors and go for walks. She’d sleep outside if she could (and if I went out, too!). They both adore going to the park. Victoria is fearless (much to my chagrin), and Alexandria makes friends with whatever kids are at the park. They both eat pretty much whatever you stick in front of them, provided it’s cut small enough (or else…). Asparagus included, which is something I don’t even eat.

I personally think my children are beautiful, intelligent, and normal. There are days when I want to go rent a room by myself and get away from it all, but they’re not often. *shrug* You caught me on a bad one.
