Introduction
I'm sorry this is going to be so short. I wanted to give everyone an update on Alaina's arm. I promise the details of Chicago will be coming soon!
I took Alaina back to the surgeon yesterday for them to take another set of X-rays. The bones look like they are healing well. Yippee! She has been feeling so much better that it's hard to keep her calm. Well, it's always hard to keep a 7 yr. old calm, but now it's especially hard lol! The dr. said that if she behaves (HA!) she might be able to remove the sling next Friday. Boy I hope so! She was running on the playground the other day and her best friend told me about it. I told Alaina that if she couldn't follow the dr's orders to not play hard, no running, no carrying anything, then she would have to stay inside at recess. She didn't like that at all, so maybe she'll take me seriously.
That's all for now! Eight days to go until normalcy returns! Hey, I can dream....can't I?!
