Hello everyone! I am in total shock about having my own diary. I am ALMOST at a loss for words! It's good that it's only almost, because otherwise this would be a very boring entry!!
I must admit that this is my second attempt at posting an entry. I now know how Allisun has felt when she has spent so long writing an entry and then she lost it. Ugh!! I am definitely going to have to figure out how to do this in word and then copy it here. Lord knows, I don't want to go through all this again.
I have been around this site for about 4 years, so many of you know me very well. But for those of you who don't I'll give a brief history of my family. For those of you who do know me, you know NOTHING I ever say is brief LOL! But I'll try:
I am 35 and a SAHM. I volunteer at the elementary school and am also the Girl Scout leader for my daughter's Brownie troop. My husband Bill is a department supervisor for a major paper company. We have been together since 1988 and married in July of 1991. We just recently celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary and still like eachother! We have a very strong relationship. Laughter is a major part of our life. He is such a cornball! We both love sports and outdoor activities. We were blessed with our daughter Alaina in Sept. 1996. That is a long story that I will save for another time. I will say that we are very lucky to have her in our lives. She is getting ready to start second grade and can't wait for school to start in two weeks. Where did the summer go?! We live in the foothills of the Appalachians south of Columbus, Ohio. We grew up in the Cincinnati area, but love small town life. We live in a small village surrounded by farms. We bought an 1890's Victorian style cottage and are restoring it one room at a time. We love it! We have a shepherd mix dog named Duke who is almost 2 years old. We also have a psycho cat named Jasmine who will live forever just to spite me. I am not exaggerating (sp) when I say she is psycho. We gave her away once. They gave her back! So I figure that we belong to her for a long time to come.
Well, if you are still reading, I applaud you! I hope that you enjoyed reading this entry and come back again. It will get better, I promise! I do tend to be sarcastic and like to joke around, so be prepared! And feel free to stop by my TTM board and let me know you are here so I can be one of the "popular" girls LOL!
I do wish to say a big "Thank you!" to Tanya for all her hard work in getting the diaries to come alive again! I know I am in the company of some great ladies and am thankful to be a part of this community. Thank you all for your support and prayers through my health issues this summer. Now I can post updates on my own board- yay!
Thanks again!
Alicia
