Update 4/19
April 19, 2007
I hate it that I make one post and then disappear. In my defense I have had so
much stuff going on. Abbey had her puppetry play She had been taking a puppetry
class through the Lexington Children's Theatre. As the final class they put on
a puppet show for the parents using puppets that they made during the class. It
was really fun. Then we went to visit our family that lives an hour away. We had
a birthday party for Emmy at McDonalds. She was so happy to have her monkey (Curious
George) cake. That's all she asked for, for her birthday.
The birthday party was fun we had it at McDonalds. They got lots of clothes and
Abbey got a fiddle she is determined to take lessons. Emmy says she got a baby because my cousin let us borrow her 2 month old for
the week. I know I thought what she is giving me her baby. But s is along and
gets NO help from her family and her husband is in Baghdad and she is only 20
she so she is pretty stressed. The baby is a dream. She is so alert and so smiley.
My baby's never were this happy. Such a pleasure.
We appear to have worked out our problems with what we will do for the preschool
next year. Now we won't know who is doing what until we get more kids enrolled.
We will be having an open house soon. Right now we have 4 twos, two fours and
a three. Emmy still loves school. Her teacher told me she was concerned that she
never plays in her room in the mornings. I pointed out that she loves playing
with another child in my room so they are usually building stuff.
There is an opening at the County Attorney's office division of child support.
I have been thinking about taking the state test to get the job. It would be giving
up actually working with kids but I would be helping them in another way and it
would be good benefits and good pay the only problem is Emmy would have to go
to day care and I just don't know if I can do that. I guess I will just wait and see.
I have had to travel to Lexington twice this week. I have been having a pain
in my left ovary. At first I didn't know what it was because the pain was up and
down. Then it was the whole lower left side then it gradually became only the
extreme lower left side and more of an ache unless it is pressed on. My Gyno is
very hard to get into. I started seeing him when he first started practicing.
Now everyone wants to see him. He is really good nice and gentle but I hate waiting
almost two weeks to get in. So my Family Dr saw me and did a pelvic and sent me
for a u/s since my ovary was enlarged. The U/s tech didn't tell me anything and
now I am waiting for a call. Either way I am seeing my regular Gyno May 1
st.
Here are some pictures.

This is my cousin's baby Cady that I kept for a week.

Here is Abbey and her puppet kitty-o

and of course one of my Emmy
