Father's Day

June 17, 2006

Tomorrow is Brett's *day*!! I am currently baking him a chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and vanilla icecream on the side...his FAVORITE!!!! I need to sit the kids down this evening and make a card or some pictures for him as well. We did go ahead and buy him a magnetic bracelet he's always wanted and I put a couple pictures in a frame for him at work. I hope he realizes how much we care about him. He is the one who works, so he misses out on alot of stuff at home, which makes me sad, but I know he needs his *time* away to stay sane. But I think in all the everyday stuff, week after week, we forget to thank him for all his hard work. I know he feels unappreciated at times, and I wish I could change that, we do appreciate him so very much. He's really done a great job with the kids, with his life too. He used to be a professional college student(still in school at age 27) and running at the bars, after girls, all that crazy stuff. And now look at him, a hard working father of 4 just about to hit his 10 year anniversary....who would have thought!!???? we LOVE you honey, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart for everything you do. Savannah just woke up, so gotta run, HUGS :)
