Chanda's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

Coming back!!!

February 10, 2007

I haven't been here in quite some time. I thought I should attempt, again to keep my journal alive and well!!! I am going to focus most of my entries on my kids and dealing with their food allergies. I have been spending hours a day educating myself, so really, I just need a place to kind of let it all out!

Real quickly, a quick summary of what we deal with each day....

Sidney-8 (beef and chocolate, grasses, molds, weeds, guinea pig & asthma)
Jake-6 (peanut, all tree nuts, eggs, trees, grasses, weeds, molds, cats, dogs, guinea pig & eczema & asthma)
Carson-3 1/2 (milk, soy, egg, beef and pork, cats, dog, guinea pig, also suffers from Eosinophilic Esophogitis)
Savannah-1 (milk and egg, and many other food sensitivities)

With Valentines coming up Wed.  I am sure I will have plenty to whine about!!  It's always stressful when class parties are approaching, but I know I will get by!!

If interested, here is a link to a news story at our school!  My son Jake is severly allergic to nuts/peanuts/eggs so we got some great changes made to the lunchroom a couple months back...but some parents weren't welcoming of changes, so they called the local news.  I'd like to post the link :)

Okay, I will break there....my kids are all wound up, Daddy just got home!  Savannah has been difficult again today as well, it's always something causing her upset, I am perplexed as usual!  Take care, HUGS :)
