Googling...

August 14, 2006

My daughter is addicted to googling. This is partly my husbands fault because he taught my daughter how to use the computer. Ofcourse, kids pick up on everything that goes on in their environments. My husband had made some links for Chloe to use and go online. Well, as smart as she is, she figured out that she can read and spell so why not google. She's gotten herself in trouble over this. She's been told many times but she's hooked. My daughter is a google addict. Speaking of Chloe, she'll be starting Kindergarten in two short weeks. I feel a bit sad, I was pondering back to my maternity leave today and was thinking how much I enjoyed it. Life was so fresh and new then. We were newlyweds, pregnant and bought our first house, how great was life. We were watching Chloe's baby video's and that triggered some nostalgia. I also find that she's so amazing. I miss my baldy baby. Now, I have a dainty diva. She loves bracelets, hair, clothes, shoes, and anything else girly. I have a great memory and some times I think about this or that and cannot beleive five years have passed. I'm very happy with our kindergarten school choice, of private christian school. They follow a special curriculm and like I said previously Chloe is reading already so we are interested in keeping this moving along and keep her up to our standards. It's funny because where we live, is subprime. We live in a Section 8 House, (we do not receive section 8), our landlord is eager to get us moving along to a bigger place, the problem is he has great houses, they schools just stink like rotten fish. These schools are very low performing and I have some specific schools in mind where I'd consider living. Ofcourse, the bouns next year DH will be gainfully employeed again, so I hope princess can attend the school where he's teaching., Maybe I'm in love with a fairy tale but that would make life so much cheaper. I am also pretty sure I want to have another baby. August of 2007 will be my 18 months post gastric bypass anniversary and i plan on starting once i'm cleared by the dr's. THey say 18 months but I might try sooner. I'll be 34 next year, althought I wanted to be done with my kids by 30, 34 is desireable, however, over 35-36 is way less desirable. I honestly too don't care if it goes either way. I want to try but if nothing happens that's fine too. I'm not baby crazy. I'll try anything once. I wanted to say congrats to Bonnie on her new daughter, congrats to Kate (ava's mom) who announced she's pregnant congrat to annie on childrens today whose expecting #3. I feel like I'm missing out a bit, but good things come with time. My job offers fully benefits too including maternity and great disability benefits. I won't have to worry about that either. I don't predict I'll be changing jobs anytime soon, especially since I started my MBA in finance in June. They will be paying for me to go to school through my job. Gotta love it. So, not sure when I will update again, even though I do have a lap top now. I'm just too lazy to transfer my links and get this up to speed like my other pc. The weather has finally broke here and it's not in the high 90's anymore. I hope the weather stays well and everyone get's through the first days of kindergarten without too much kleenex. JT
