Bulid A Bear
June 17, 2006
Today we went to Build A Bear Workshop to make a Hello Kitty and dress her. Ofcourse we couldn't get 1 hello kitty, nope, had to buy two. My niece is having a birthday and she's the one we were making the kitty for. However, princess had to have one two, it's like they are sisters, just 9 years apart. So, we bought the first hello kitty stuffed her, dressed her, added acessories, did the story on the pc and made a purchase. Princess got everything the same, exccept she got a flower too. This store is a wracket. I really wanted to do some mall shopping, however, princess isn't feeling well. Have you ever been in a shopping mood. I was. However, with princess fretting every step, we just left.
Now, princess had a fever tuesday night and it lasted until Thursday, she's been eating very little and sleeping some. I havne't wisked her off to the dr's because she's out of daycare for the summer and I don't see the urgency in wisking her into the dr's office. So, it's saturday and she seems better. She has a cough and it's productive, but i'm not sure what else.
She has a well child appointment this week so we might wait it out or take her in, I'm just undecided.
Wednesday of this past week, DH had a colonosocopy. He acted very brave, however, I found it annoying that he had to be reassured so often that he was doing al right. I went for 2 weeks without any solid foods after my gastric bypass and he's complaining about 12 hours. Come on.
Thursday was a normal work day. Friday was the same.
TOday was supposed to be shopping day. Have you seen the Croc's shoes? I have two caymen styles in light blue and purple. I really want pink though. I want to get princess some pink ones too, however, we looked at two stores at the mall and they didn't have any that small. She wears a toddlers 10 still.
I really wish the feet fairy would sprinkle some growing dust on her feet. I'm most likely to need to order a pair via the internet.
Since her feet are so tiny. I wear mine every day, however, I do find that my feet sweat in them, so it makes them slipper Ok, I just dedcided to use the old method and call around. I think I might have found a pair of pink caymen's for princess. I will probably get some for me.
Next weekend we are going to the ocean. I keep thinking of the lyrics of LL Cool J -
She said, she liked, the ocean
She showed me a beach, gave me a peach
and pulled out the suntan lotion
Princess loves the ocean. I am not crazy about salt water, but i'm sure we will have a good time. We haven't been to the beach since last year and this was like a quick fluke thing that happened. SO, it's meant to be and were going. We just have to wait for the key from the people were renting from.
Right now, princess is passed out sleeping. I am going to sleep next. I don't care if I'm not supposed to nap but I love to nap, that's my favorite.
