06/11/06 School picture, Daddy's new truck, and amusement park fun
June 11, 2006
We got Justin's school pictures back. These pictures seem to make him look so much older. He still looks like a baby to me in person. I am just in no hurry I guess. He is the only boy in his class, so he is surrounded by girls in the group picture. It is cute! I will try to include the picture with this entry, not sure how that works yet. We also got a new truck, a gold Blazer. Well not brand new, it's a 2002, but new to us. I haven't ridden in it yet. And Justin got a new booster seat for it too. I didn't think he was ready for a booster seat yet, but it has the harness like a car seat does, so he can use it that way until he is 40 pounds.
Today we went to Great Adventure. It was a lot of fun, but really exhausting. I am tired right now, and cannot wait for bedtime! We got there at 10am, and started out by going in the section with the little rides for Justin. I went on about five rides with him, and then we stopped for lunch and had pizza and fries. I know that is not very healthy! I am trying to work on that. Then we walked around a little longer and stopped for ice cream. It is the kind that looks like little freeze-dried balls of ice cream. Really yummy! After that we went to the tiger show, and then looked in a few shops, and Justin fell asleep. I bought him a little t-shirt. We were getting very tired by this time, and decided to leave. Somehow, we ended up being there for about five or six hours! I know Justin is tired too, because he was kind of whiny up until about 15 minutes ago. I am hoping he will go to sleep early, because I want to go to bed soon. Well, at least I got some good exercise with all that walking!
