Tricia's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
February 8, 2004
Hello, and welcome back to the hopeful return of my diary. Somehow I managed to escape the complainers of iP for wasting space, and I so regret not keeping a better record of our lives in this past year. What a shame. I think I left off well over a year ago on keeping up to date on the accomplishments of each of my children. I guess it‘s hopeless now, so I’ll just go on from here.
Charles is turning out to be my little brilliant eight year old. Excelling (actually beyond excelling) in school, busy with friends, and enjoying a new karate class. I say little, because he is so little.(smile) Charles is always the youngest in class, the youngest among neighborhood boys, but can definitely hold his own, and gets along fabulously in his little life. I always wonder what this will do to make him into the man he will become someday.
Alyssa is still up to her old tricks, and then some. She is very cute, friendly, popular, funny, and loves to make everyone happy. She also has the temper of a devil. (grin) I can already picture her in the teenage years and I’m scared. Truly scared. She took up ice skating this year and flies around the ice, spinning and twirling, she is actually VERY good at it. I took her to the rink today, and it was pure joy to watch her skating around, socializing and having fun.
Sarah is still my little munchkin, such a cutie and everyone in our family just adores the heck out of her. (big smile!) She’s an angel, she really is. Every time she does ANYTHING, all of us are falling all over her, singing the praises of her cuteness. She is very attached to Lyssie, adores Charles, loves her Daddy, and remains to be a breastfeeding co sleeping toddler.
How am I doing?
Pretty darn well. This year, Chuck and I will celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, and I just turned 31. I can hardly believe it. My life is just flying right by. Sometimes it almost is depressing, and I question if I am doing the best for myself and everyone in my family. I think I need to relax, and have a lot more fun all around. Sometimes LIFE just seems to be so busy and entail so much work just to get through the day.
I am enjoying several new friendships as well. I get so much from my friends, it’s great to meet new people. One of them is a neighbor, a neighbor you always wish for. Our children all get along fabulously, we run back and forth from house to house all day and have dinner together on the weekends. Our DH’s even get along great. She has 2 sets of twins (6 yr olds, and 18 month olds).
I guess I’ll end it here. I have Sunday night duties to attend too.
