Toddler-friendly Crafts

Nothing makes a toddler feel like a big kid more than starting preschool. These crafts are great teacher gifts or make cute keepsakes that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Children should be supervised while making all crafts.
You'll need:
Assortment of puzzle pieces (you can purchase cheap puzzles at a dollar store)
4-by-6-inch piece of construction cardstock paper
4-by-6-inch picture of choice
White glue
Circle heavy duty magnets
Here's what you do:
Cut pieces of construction card stock paper to 4 inches by 6 inches. Help your toddler glue the picture on the construction card stock paper. Allow it to dry completely. When dry, let your child glue on random puzzle pieces around the edge of the picture. Allow to dry, then attach two heavy-duty magnets to the top corners. Hang on the refrigerator or on a filing cabinet.
You'll need:
Canvas tote bag, any size
Fabric paints
Paint brushes, sponges and shapes to stamp with
Aluminum foil
Other embellishments to sew or glue onto the bag
Here's what you do:
Put the aluminum foil inside the bag to prevent the paint from bleeding onto the other side. Now it's time to decorate!
Paint your child's hands with the paint and let him place them on the front of the bag. Help him paint his name on the bottom or even on top of the handprints when dry.
