Sparking Your Child's Interest in Books
By Melissa Granberry
Jen Singer, of Kinnelon, N.J., mother of two boys and creator of www.MommaSaid.net, suggests finding books on subjects that will interest your child. "My son, Chris, loves food," says Singer. "When he was 2, he had a board book that sorted food by color. He slept with that book in his crib, and he has been carrying books around with him ever since."
So whatever your child's "interest of the week," head to the library to find some books about the subject. /p>
