Debi Mazar's Literary and Musical Picks

Pages:  1

  • Easter Rising (Houghton Mifflin, 2006) by Michael Patrick McDonald
  • Eloise (Simon and Schuster, 1969) by Kay Thompson
  • Madeline (Viking, 2000) by Ludwig Bemelmans
  • Grimm's Fairy Tales

Mazar plays all types of world music in the house: Brazilian (Samba), Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Jazz, Rock. "I have no favorite – just depends on the mood of the day – but the children love to dance, and music is a big part of our home," Mazar says.

"[My daughter] loves jazz and all Latin music, but also loves Gwen Stefani and Madonna! She likes girl pop music! The baby seems to like piano concertos."
