Diane Gardner Provides Expert Postpartum Beauty Advice

As for mascara, Gardner says that the biggest mistake is using waterproof mascara. "I tell my clients that's for weddings and the beach only," she says, because it is hard to get off and you lose lashes by trying. Instead, Gardner says that one of her favorite budget buys is Maybelline's Lash Discovery because it has a mini-wand that works wonders and comes off with soap and water.
She also recommends Maybelline's Smooth Result Concealer as a great product for helping minimize dark under eye circles. "To create a natural look with concealer, only apply it in the direct groove underneath your eye and follow the groove as it slopes down your nose," says Gardner. "Lastly, use a Q-tip to blend it gently under the rest of the eye."
